Handyperson

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman for a temporary assignment in Plymouth. This role is suited to someone with solid all-round maintenance experience and some working knowledge of building systems within commercial or industrial environments.

Role responsibilities:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repair works
• Minor electrical works such as changing fittings (non-certified tasks only)
• Assisting with the upkeep and monitoring of building systems
• Supporting facilities or site teams with planned and reactive maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance operative
• Some familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plant rooms, fire alarm systems, BMS awareness advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Valid CSCS card desirable but not essential
