Position: Senior Estimator,
Salary: 105,(Apply online only),000 + Car / Car allowance + Pension + Health

My client has an excellent reputation within the industry and is now seeking a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The organisation is a main building contractor with a solid presence in London and the South East who have a reputation in delivering high quality construction schemes ranging from 15M to 200M in value across both new build and refurbishment markets. The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sectors of Commercial, Mixed-use, MOD and Residential builds.
Duties for the role:
- Production of accurate prime costs for the projects
- Co-ordinate the tender process
- Develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity
- Develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Develop knowledge of market place and competitors
Candidate Profile:
- Build background, ideally with commercial experience
- Use of Conquest estimating software would be beneficial
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Able to maintain a high level of work quality against cost restraints
- Proven track record on all forms of procurement
- Experience on both JCT D&B & NEC forms of contract
