Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Derby, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: 25k - 35k + Training & Benefits

A national player within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry is seeking a hardworking and switched on Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites across the Midlands region. You will be conducting pre-planned ACOP L8 management tasks, ensuring that client sites remain safe and compliant. Our client is highly respected within the industry, and are able to offer great routes into other sectors within the industry, including plumbing and legionella risk assessing. Experience / Qualifications:

• Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Comfortable using IT software
• Hardworking attitude

The Role:

• Travelling across a mixed portfolio of client sites, to undertake a range of ACOP L8 compliance duties
• Showerhead disinfections
• Completing inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• Using chemicals to complete mains injections
• Flushing on little used outlets
• Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
• Collecting samples from closed loop systems
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Keeping a record of works undertaken
