Role Summary:

We re seeking a capable Site Engineer to support major civil engineering works on a freelance basis for our client, a contractor with broad experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. You ll play a key role in ensuring technical accuracy, quality control and robust setting-out on live sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out engineering tasks including setting-out, surveying and quality control
• Work with GPS/Total Station equipment and interpret design information
• Support site management in delivering works safely and to specification
• Produce accurate records, reports and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and health & safety procedures
• Coordinate with subcontractors and survey teams as required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Competent in unisng Total Station / GPS
• Good knowledge of construction documentation, drawings and design intent
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities
• CSCS or equivalent professional certification preferred
