Land Buyer - New Build Housing

Are you an experienced Land Buyer, looking for the next step in your career?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a prominent, cash-rich new build housing developer, who are currently on the look out for a Land Buyer to join them on a permanent basis out of their office in Leeds. As a Land Buyer, you will be responsible for the sourcing of land and securing new sites for development that will meet or exceed the company's forecast.

What are we looking for?

Prior experience as a Land Buyer for a new build housing developer.

Full UK's driving license

Good communication and negotiation skills

Knowledge of planning requirements and housing policies

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and visiting sites for potential development

Appraising a site to establish land value and writing reports on your findings

Understanding planning legislation and working closely with planning teams to assess suitability for development and the likelihood of achieving permission for a variety of developments

Negotiating deals with both landowners and agents, and presenting ideas at consultation events
