Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for two Slab Layers to start immediately on a large Water Treatment Works project in Leighton Buzzard. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site and work with a reputable contractor offering competitive pay and long-term potential.

• Prepare and set up large structural slabs, including bases for tanks, pump stations, chemical bunds, channels, or equipment plinths, often involving heavy reinforcement and strict tolerances.

• Pour and finish engineered concrete, ensuring correct levels and falls for drainage, meeting structural specifications, including high-strength or waterproof mixes where required.

• Follow strict quality and health and safety standards in line with environmental and regulatory requirements on water treatment sites.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Thames Water Passport.

• Previous experience on sewage or water treatment sites.

• Reliable, consistent, and safety-conscious approach to work.

• £25-£26 per hour, depending on experience.

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm.
