Health and Safety Advisor

We are pleased to be working with a commercial marina business to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor following company growth. Based at their Southampton office, this role will also involve travel to other locations around the UK roughly once a week.

Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety and Environment, you will be part of a longstanding and dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking their next role with an established and growing organisation.

As Health and Safety Advisor, you will:

• Support the Head of HSE in maintaining the company s health and safety management system
• Carry out audits on sites to maintain safety and environmental compliance and performance
• Build and maintain relationships with on site management and safety representatives
• Provide HSE advice and guidance to ensure safe working practices
• Work alongside the Head of HSE in creating a strategic plan for Health and Safety within the business

To be considered for this role you should have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with site teams
• UK driving license
• A positive attitude with a can do approach to Health and Safety
