A leading building services contractor is seeking General Maintenance Operatives / Engineer's Mates to work on a hospital project in Lambeth, close to London Bridge.
This role will involve assisting site engineers and carrying out general maintenance duties across the hospital. You will be working alongside plumbers, electricians, and mechanical engineers, providing support where required.
Role Details:
- Start date: 25/02/2026 TBC
- Minimum 3-month contract
- Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm
- 140 per day
- Some weekend work may be available
Duties Will Include:
- Assisting plumbers, electricians, and mechanical engineers as required
- General maintenance support across the hospital site
- Supporting engineers with tools, materials, and site tasks
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe
Requirements:
- Basic DBS certificate (dated within the last 12 months) - essential
- Previous maintenance or site experience
- Full PPE
- Reliable and able to attend work consistently
