Job Description

My client are construction and civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver schemes in Cumbria. My client are operating across the AMP 8 framework delivering infrastructure works.

Site manager responsibilities:

  • Programme management and delivery.
  • Writing and amending RAMS.
  • Raising and signing permits.
  • Daily briefings.
  • Detailed record keeping.
  • Ordering materials.
  • QA/ QC.
  • Managing health and safety.
  • Look ahead programs.
  • Liaising with the client and local authorities.
  • Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.

Site manager requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ level 6.
  • CSCS card - White, gold or black.
  • SMSTS.
  • First aid.
  • Competent with writing RAMS.
  • IT literate.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience within the water sector.
