The Role As
Site Agent, you ll take responsibility for the safe, efficient and commercially sound delivery of a major section of works.
You ll lead engineering, supervisory and subcontract teams, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full operational management of a defined work package
- Leading Senior Engineers, Section Engineers and site teams
- Managing subcontractors and specialist trades
- Driving short-term planning and programme delivery
- Leading client interface and attending progress meetings
- Overseeing H&S compliance and site standards
- Reviewing and approving RAMS
- Working closely with commercial teams on cost control and reporting
- Proactively identifying and resolving delivery risks
- Ensuring quality and technical compliance on complex RC and marine works
This is a hands-on leadership role with real accountability.
About You We re looking for a proven
Site Agent with strong heavy civils experience.
You ll bring:
- Experience delivering major civil engineering projects as Site Agent
- Strong background in reinforced concrete structures
- Marine or infrastructure project experience desirable
- Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors
- Strong commercial awareness and NEC contract familiarity
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance
You ll be organised, commercially aware and confident making decisions on live projects.
