About the Project

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new modular building project from installation through to completion and handover. The project involves the installation and fit-out of a high-quality off-site manufactured building, requiring strong coordination skills and a hands-on management approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from module delivery to final completion

• Coordinate modular installation, cranage, and on-site assembly

• Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme

• Maintain strict health & safety standards and site compliance

• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and suppliers

• Ensure quality control and compliance with drawings and specifications

• Manage site documentation, reporting, and progress updates

• Identify and resolve any on-site issues efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on modular or off-site construction projects

• Strong understanding of structural installation and finishing trades

• Valid SMSTS certification

• First Aid at Work qualification

• CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to manage programme and deliver to tight deadlines
