A respected and well-established UK housebuilder is seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a high-quality brand new phase on an existing residential development in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager looking to further develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

You will take ownership of specific plots or phases, supervise subcontractors, and help maintain programme targets while upholding excellent health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Site Manager in overseeing daily site operations

  • Supervise subcontractors and trades on allocated plots

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies

  • Monitor build quality and ensure adherence to NHBC standards

  • Assist in managing programme schedules and site logistics

  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks

  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and site presentation

  • Support with inspections and customer care requirements

What We re Looking For
  • Previous experience on high volume new build housing sites

  • Experience as an Assistant Site Manager

  • Strong understanding of build programmes and quality control

  • Good organisational and communication skills

  • A proactive and hands-on approach

  • Ability to work well within a team environment

Essential Qualifications
  • SMSTS or SSSTS

  • CSCS Card (Black, Gold or White)

  • First Aid at Work

  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management (or working towards) desirable
