CNC Laser & Press Brake Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Laser and CNC Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled operator who is also capable of assisting with welding and fabrication when the laser and press brake workload allows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting machines
• Program, set, and operate CNC press brakes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensure parts are produced accurately and to quality standards
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and fault reporting
• Assist with welding and general fabrication during quieter periods
• Work collaboratively with the fabrication and production teams

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Strong experience with CNC press brakes (setting and programming)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred) and general fabrication skills
• Good attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to health & safety in the workplace

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
• Welding certifications
• Forklift or overhead crane licence
• Nesting using Radan software
