Quantity Surveyor High End Residential
A leading building and refurbishment contractor that specialises in high-end residential projects in in Berkshire and Oxfordshire are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
The Quantity Surveyor will work alongside a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential new builds, extensions and refurbishments in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
The company has an impressive pipeline of work and is offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent support and progression.
The company
The company specialise in prime residential refurbishments and new builds have recently experienced an influx of new projects. They have a turnover of around 90 million the company is of large size and has a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional standard of work.
Quantity surveyor Role
Projects range from 5 - 9 million. The projects are some of the best the country has to offer.
You'll be joining the firm prior to the projects kicking off, so you'll have a nice run in period with no nasty surprises.
You will be responsible for -
- Cost Reporting
- Tender and contract documents
- CVR's
- Bills of Quants
- Attend professional and client meetings
- Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
- Mitigate commercial risks
The Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
- 5 years + Experience
- Ideally you will have experience of Prime / Super prime property.
- Experience of working for a main contractor
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
