Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and compliance across our operations. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and implementing best practice H&S standards throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide health & safety policies and procedures

  • Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety legislation

  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections

  • Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions

  • Deliver H&S training and toolbox talks

  • Maintain up-to-date records and compliance documentation

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors

  • Promote a positive safety culture across all levels of the business

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
    (NEBOSH Diploma desirable)

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior H&S Advisor role

  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation

  • Experience conducting audits and risk assessments

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
