Job Description
My architecture client are seeking an Architect with experience in residential and/or commercial projects and strong proficiency in Revit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading design development, producing construction documentation, coordinating with consultants, and supporting projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design of residential and commercial projects from schematic design through construction administration.
Develop detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents using Revit.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants to ensure integrated project delivery.
Prepare and review project specifications, material selections, and code compliance documentation.
Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and participate in design presentations.
Ensure projects meet building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability requirements.
Support permitting processes and respond to plan check comments.
Collaborate with project managers to maintain schedules and budgets.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
3+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial architectural projects.
Strong proficiency in Revit (modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination).
Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, and detailing.
Experience producing full construction document sets.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure.
Experience with additional software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or Bluebeam.
LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices.
Experience with construction administration and site observation.
