Salary: 45,000 - 65,000 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established Mechanical & Electrical contractor operating across London and the South East, who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial & Industrial Electrical Estimator to join their growing team.
With over 30 years of industry expertise, our client delivers comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical solutions across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects and continues to expand due to sustained growth.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tender enquiries from initial pricing through to completion, ensuring accurate and competitive costings while maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing tender enquiries from receipt through to final submission
- Preparing accurate estimates for labour and materials
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Working closely with clients to understand project requirements
- Providing expert advice on electrical systems and cost-effective solutions
- Producing clear, professional written documentation and correspondence
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating/tendering (essential)
- Strong commercial and industrial electrical estimating background
- Mechanical experience preferred
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Computer literate and confident using estimating software and systems
- Diploma of Higher Education (required)
- Motivated, proactive individual able to hit the ground running
Salary & Benefits
- 45,000 - 65,000 per annum (DOE)
