Site Manager - Birmingham
Location: Birmingham
Shift: Monday to Friday - Days (48 hours per week)
Rate: £400-£450
Contract: LTD (Outside IR35)
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to support a New Logistics Distribution Centre project in Birmingham. This role focuses on the installation of a conveyor cross-belt sorter system and coordinating closely with the main project contractor.
You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day site activity, coordinating multiple installation suppliers, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate multiple installation suppliers on site
- Take full ownership of EHS compliance and site safety standards
- Act as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders
- Lead daily activity briefings, safety briefings, and site meetings
- Drive site progress and resolve issues quickly and decisively
- Monitor and report project progress using MS Office and MS Project
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction, engineering, or installation projects
- Previous Site Manager experience on Industrial Logistics Projects.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and safe systems of work
- Confident communicator, able to engage at all levels
- Decisive leadership style with the ability to challenge unsafe or non-compliant behaviour
- Competent using MS Office and MS Project
- CSCS Black Card
- SMSTS
- NEBOSH (Desirable)
- MEWP (Desirable)
