A respected and fast-growing façade subcontractor is looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their team in Warrington. The business is open to applications from Assistant through to Senior Design Manager level, offering a clear pathway for development and progression.

This is a flexible, office-based role (with work-from-home options) that would suit someone with experience in aluminium curtain walling. While a background in both residential and commercial schemes is ideal, the team is open-minded and more focused on attitude, attention to detail, and collaboration than sector-specific experience.

The business delivers high-quality curtain walling and façade packages and has built a reputation for design-led, technically sound solutions across a range of UK projects. You ll work closely with both internal and external teams, driving technical delivery and acting as a key liaison across design and project stakeholders.

As Design Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing façade design development from tender through to construction
• Working closely with clients, architects, and suppliers to ensure compliant, buildable solutions
• Coordinating with internal teams to deliver technical drawing packages to spec and on time
• Leading design meetings, value engineering sessions, and resolving technical issues
• Supporting more junior team members (if senior level) or learning from an experienced manager (if assistant level)
