Key Responsibilities:

• Load Preparation: Attaching and detaching loads safely to lifting equipment.
• Equipment Selection: Choosing the right lifting accessories (slings, shackles, beams) for the specific lift.
• Communication: Giving clear, standard hand signals or radio instructions to the crane operator.
• Hazard Identification: Assessing site conditions, load weight, and potential obstacles, stopping lifts if necessary.
• Supervision: Overseeing the entire lifting process from start to finish, ensuring safe placement.
• Safety Checks: Inspecting lifting gear before and after use.

Qualifications:

• CPCS/NPORS required.
• UK RTW required.
• Slinger experience
