Site Engineer

Great career opportunity for a Project Engineer working for a highly successful main contractor on Thames Water Framework projects across the Thames Valley region

The position can be based out of several locations including Aylesbury, Banbury, and Reading.

As a Site Engineer you'll work on projects including improving flood defences and upgrading water treatment works

Ideally you will have experience in the civils and/or water sectors

The responsibilities of a Site Engineer includes:

• Ensuring standard company procedures are adopted in carrying out setting out operations as per the test and inspection
• Site Management
• Assist the Site manager
• Financial Control and ensuring company cost systems are kept up to date
• Assisting the Site manager and Quantity Surveying Department by compiling data

Ideal Requirements

• CSCS and SSSTS
• HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Understand civil engineering principles and practices
• An understanding of methods, materials and technical aspects relevant to the project
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
