They are looking for someone to help develop and implement our health, safety and environmental strategies to provide day to day support to the management team. You’ll also be responsible for the training and management of the systems that support training. Responsibilities Providing general administrative support, including the co-ordination and delivery of H&S compliance training. * Corrective Action Tracking, ensuring timely completion * Create Work Instructions and ensure they are Implemented via suitable Training * Co-ordinate and administer all Training on site. * Conduct Risk Assessments to identify potential hazards, control measures and further actions. Due to this they are now looking to recruit a junior environmental Advisor for scheme in East Anglia. Valuing at £100m+ this scheme will see new cable lines and pipes laid on a large stretch of highway. The initial phase will comprise of complex enabling works and logistics. Duties: -Develop and maintain the environmental programme to ensure it is compliant with legislation and corporate requirements. -Manage regular reviews of the EHS functions within the business, providing objectives to improve the overall EHS performance. -Attend management review meetings to present EHS performance and discuss actions to be taken to improve performance and address any causes for concern/ issues. -Ensure environmental management programmes are implemented -Responsible for emergency planning and take leadership in ESH emergency situations -Represent the company on EHS affairs with external parties -Responsible for procedures, approval and control of hazardous, regulated and solid wastes Essential requirements: -Degree education – Environmental Science -Experience of preparing sud plans & filling the ecological cleric of works role would be advantageous -GIS mapping would desirable For an immediate response please call Alice on (Apply online only) or apply directly
