Site Manager
Location: Rochester, Kent
Contract: 4 months
Overview
PSR Solutions are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work with a specialist modular/offsite construction contractor delivering high-quality modular building projects in and around Rochester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of modular installations and associated site works. This role will suit a Site Manager with strong experience in modular, offsite, or systems-built construction who is confident managing logistics, cranage, subcontractors, and client interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all site-based activities for modular build projects from set-up through to completion and handover.
Oversee delivery, lift, installation, and finishing of modular units.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Produce and maintain site documentation including RAMS, permits, toolbox talks, and progress reports.
Conduct site inductions and daily briefings.
Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and client representatives.
Monitor quality standards and ensure works meet specification.
Maintain site security, housekeeping, and welfare standards.

Gold CSCS Card (Site Manager/Construction Management)

First Aid at Work
Required Experience:
Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction.
Strong understanding of modular or offsite construction processes (highly desirable).
Experience coordinating modular unit deliveries, cranage, and installations.
Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience on education, healthcare, commercial, or industrial modular projects.
Familiarity with factory-built systems and offsite methodologies.
