Civils Site Manager

12-Month Contract Immediate Start
Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a large-scale 300-plot housing development in Huddersfield. This role will focus on managing works from damp proofing stage through to full completion and finishing works, ensuring quality, compliance, and programme targets are consistently achieved.

This is a key position on a busy residential scheme, reporting directly into the Contracts Manager and working closely with the main contractor to maintain high standards across health and safety and delivery.

• Managing day-to-day site operations across a 300-plot residential development

• Overseeing works from damp proofing through to full completion and finishing stages

• Ensuring all works are delivered in line with NHBC standards and regulations

• Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager

• Leading and contributing to daily morning briefings with the main contractor, focusing on health and safety and programme progress

• Coordinating subcontractors to maintain programme and drive quality finishes

• Maintaining strict health and safety standards across site

• Extensive experience managing plot works on residential housing developments

• Strong working knowledge of NHBC regulations

• Proven track record delivering units through to completion

• SMSTS - essential

• First Aid at Work - essential

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Available to start immediately

This is a 12-month contract on a substantial housing development, offering stability and the opportunity to play a vital role in delivering homes through the final stages to handover.
