As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for: Managing the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account Procuring and managing subcontractor packages, including tendering and negotiations Preparing and maintaining accurate cost plans, budgets, and financial reports Valuing works and ensuring timely applications and payments Managing variations, change control, and contractual notices Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies Working closely with site and project management teams to drive project performance Supporting the Commercial Manager with reporting and overall project strategy Quantity Surveyor Requirements: Ideally degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent industry experience) Main Contractor background Experience delivering projects within industrial, commercial, retail, or multi-room sectors (typically 10m+) Good understanding of JCT forms of contract Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project finances effectively Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other standard packages Other Desirable skills include: Experience working on large-scale or fast-paced construction projects Professional membership (MRICS/MCIOB or working towards chartership) What is on Offer?
