Freelance Site Engineer Commercial Build (12-Month Contract)
Location: Swindon
Duration: 12 months (potential for extension)

We are seeking a Freelance Site Engineer to join a prestigious civil engineering contractor, working on a flagship Commercial Project in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile project with the potential for ongoing work across the region.

The Role:

• Setting out for Warehouses, Commercial Builds and Groundworks Supervision

• Managing site activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

• Reviewing technical drawings, resolving engineering queries, and liaising with project managers.

• Maintaining accurate records of site activities and surveys.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering projects (bridges, highways, or infrastructure preferred).

• Strong setting out and surveying skills (GPS/Total Station).

• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and site health & safety.

• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.

• CSCS card essential; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.
