Works Manager Sizewell (Site Based)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Works Manager to lead the safe, efficient delivery of site works on the major Sizewell C project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to specification
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to maximise productivity
• Take full ownership of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries, and progress reporting
• Supervise Temporary Works and ensure RAMS, permits, and inductions are in place
• Support planning, sequencing, and resolution of technical site issues
• Lead and motivate site teams, setting clear standards and expectations
• Act as the primary site contact, attending coordination and progress meetings
• Support the Project Manager in programme delivery, reporting, and client liaison

Key Traits

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven experience managing complex, safety-critical sites
• Proactive, organised, and delivery-focused
• Previous Piling & Marine Civils experience

Contract Details

• Start date: ASAP
• Long-term contract running into 2027
• Engagement: Freelance or Permanent considered

Package

• Daily rate negotiable based on experience
