Job Title: Supervisor / Builder Events

Contract Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one the UKs leading events production companies for a Supervisor / Builder to take a lead on one of their key customer accounts.

The Supervisor / Builder position plays a key role in delivering high-quality event set up / staging projects, within the sports market. The role combines hands-on build work with team supervision, ensuring projects are prepared, manufactured, delivered, and de-rigged safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee workshop and on-site build activity, manage resources, freelancers, and inventory, and uphold excellent quality and health & safety standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage storage, preparation, manufacturing, and inventory of R&A kit

  • Supervise daily workloads of full-time and freelance workshop staff

  • Lead workshop and on-site build activity, setting high standards by example

  • Plan and prepare builds from technical drawings and floorplans

  • Liaise with the Project Director, Senior Spatial Designer, workshop leadership, and suppliers

  • Ensure quality control across all build elements

  • Manage loading/unloading, transportation, and safe return of kit

  • Support on-site build and de-rig to client specifications

  • Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards

  • Support training and development of junior and trainee staff

  • Act as a professional ambassador internally and externally

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong people management, communication, and organisational skills

  • Proven experience in workshop/warehouse environments and temporary structures

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage schedules

  • High attention to detail, including finishing and inventory control

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety practices

  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Full driving licence and ability to undertake physical work

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £32,(Apply online only) - £35,(Apply online only) DOE
