The Project

- New build major roads
- Section 278 works
- Bulk and detailed earthworks
- Drainage networks
- Hard landscaping
- Lakes and ponds
- Underground car park
The Role
As Senior Engineer, you ll take responsibility for the coordination and control of engineering and subcontractor activities, acting as a key link between site delivery, the client and the commercial team.
Key duties will include:
- Managing and mentoring Site Engineers
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors
- Leading and contributing to monthly progress meetings
- Direct client liaison and technical interface
- Writing, reviewing and managing RAMS
- Liaising closely with the commercial team on progress, change and forecasts
- Short-term planning and coordination of works
- Supporting site management to drive programme, quality and safety
About You
This role suits a proven Senior Engineer with strong infrastructure experience.
You ll bring:
- Local to Bristol - no subsistence on offer
- Experience working as a Senior Engineer on major civils or infrastructure projects - highways and roads
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
- Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of H&S, quality and construction sequencing
- A proactive, organised and delivery-focused mindset
- £400 £425 per day
- Outside IR35 - CIS or Ltd Company accepted
- Long-term role on a well-run project
- Longevity (3+ years work)
