Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of architects and designers.

  • Ensure quality procedures are maintained across all projects.

  • Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the department as part of the leadership team.

  • Deliver high-standard residential designs with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Apply thorough knowledge of Building Regulations, Accessible Design, and technical detailing.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, solicitors, and Planning/Building Control Authorities using a practical problem-solving approach.

  • Utilize AutoCAD and NBS Specification for project delivery.

  • Contract administration experience is advantageous.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven leadership experience in architecture or residential design.

  • Strong residential design skills and an eye for detail.

  • Deep understanding of Building Regulations and Accessible Design principles.

  • Confidence in engaging stakeholders with clear and authoritative communication.

  • Experience with AutoCAD (minimum 3 years) and NBS Specification.

  • Contract administration experience (preferred).

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Willingness to undergo DBS check.

  • Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
