DA - Site Agent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Agent to assist the Project Manager on a major heavy civils project based in Ipswich. This is a key site-based role supporting the management and delivery of complex civil engineering works.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Project Manager with the planning, coordination, and delivery of heavy civils works on site

• Managing day-to-day site activities and supervising subcontractors and direct labour

• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting on site performance

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards

• Supporting the management of RAMS, permits to work, and site documentation

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements

• Coordinating inspections, quality checks, and record keeping

• Liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders on site

• Identifying and resolving site issues to support efficient project delivery

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an Agent or Sub Agent on heavy civils projects

• Strong understanding of civil engineering construction methodology and sequencing

• Experience supporting a Project Manager on live infrastructure schemes

• SMSTS preferred

• Valid CSCS card

• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
