North West Office - Sites Across the UK
A well-established structural steel contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver steelwork projects across the UK, with the office based in the North West.
This is a hands-on role for someone with proven experience managing structural steel projects from pre-construction to completion, working closely with fabrication teams, site managers, subcontractors, and clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Manage structural steel projects from award through to completion
Coordinate design, fabrication, and site installation activities
Oversee programmes, budgets, and quality standards
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and logistics across multiple UK sites
Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements, including RAMS
Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Requirements
Proven experience in structural steel project management
Strong knowledge of fabrication, erection, and site sequencing
Experience managing programmes and budgets on multiple sites
Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders nationwide
Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UK
