Job Title: LEV Service Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Clean Air / Ventilation specialist. They have recently won new contracts within medical / pharmaceutical premises, and require a technically-minded LEV Service Engineer to provide services to their new clients. You will be conducting servicing and testing on existing LEV / critical ventilation systems and making appropriate recommendations where needed. Our client has excellent infrastructure in place, allowing them to support hardworking engineers through further training courses. The successful candidate can expect attractive salaries and benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as an LEV Service Engineer
• Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
• Fully conversant in COSHH, HTM 0301 and HSG 258 guidelines
• Must have experience of testing CL3s
• Ideally will hold electrical installations qualifications / experience (such as 17th or 18th Edition)
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Carrying out the inspection, testing and servicing of LEV and critical ventilation systems
• Testing and servicing fume cupboards and microbiological safety cabinets
• Making recommendations for remedial works
• Component replacements
• Particle counting
• Testing of CL3s
• Fumingations of CL3s
• Calibrating equipment
• Producing detailed technical reports
• Travelling in line with company requirements
