Fire Door Specialists Ltd, part of the Ranger Fire & Security Group, is a BM Trada Q-Mark accredited, family-run organisation with over 100 years of combined industry experience. We specialise in the inspection, maintenance, and installation of fire doors, supporting safety and compliance across the UK.

We are seeking a reliable and competent Semi-Skilled Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside a Senior Engineer on sites nationwide, contributing to high-quality fire door maintenance and installation activities. Full FDIS training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist a Senior Engineer with fire door inspections, maintenance, and installation
• Undertake framing, finish carpentry, and door adjustment tasks
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with compliance requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Strong carpentry and finish-carpentry skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent joinery qualification
• Knowledge of fire door compliance (advantageous but not essential)
• Own vehicle for travel to and from work
• CSCS card preferred
