Architectural Technician
Location: Chichester
Salary: 34-38,000
An established design-led architectural practice based in the South of England is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join its collaborative and creative team. The studio is known for thoughtful, people-centred design that delivers functional, engaging spaces across a range of sectors, with particular strength in education, residential, health and leisure, and specialist projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications and technical information
Support project delivery through all technical stages of design, including co-ordination with consultants and contractors
Contribute to planning submissions, construction packages, and BIM model development
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, relevant standards and best practice detailing
Work collaboratively with architects, designers and the wider technical team
Support quality assurance processes and maintain accurate project documentation
Assist in the production of visualisations, schedules and presentations
Skills & Experience:
Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent
Proven experience delivering technical packages and construction information within an architectural practice
Competency with Revit and other architectural software (AutoCAD, BIM tools)
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, detailing and construction processes
Ability to produce accurate, well-organized technical drawings and documentation
Effective communicator with excellent organisational and team working skills
Proactive approach and commitment to high-quality, collaborative outcomes
