Subsidence Engineer / Building Surveyor

Our client is seeking a Subsidence Engineer / Building Surveyor to deal with a portfolio of subsidence and perils property damage (fire, flood, storm etc) claims up to £500,00 in value, primarily working from the desk. From time to time, as required, you will be expected to visit site and sites to assess the damage and determine causation / policy liability. You will write / submit full reports, outlining your findings and advising with regards to nature and extent of damage. You will also negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the claim. Ideally, you will be MBEng, MRICS or AssocRICS (minimum) qualified.
