Property Services Manager for housing and support residential properties across East Anglia. Covering repairs, asset management and compliance for the organisation. Housing and supported living. Management of the repairs, asset management and compliance for the portfolio. Line management of a team of 3 including a Building Surveyor, Property Officer and Compliance Co-ordinator. Reporting into the Head of Housing & Support. Management and procurement of external contractors. Liaison with landlords and leases. Budget management. Strategic planning. Profile Commutable distance of East Anglia. Similar experience operating within the social housing sector. High level of knowledge and experience of contract management. Proven track record in delivering property repairs and asset management services. Strong knowledge of housing compliance regulations including gas, electrics, fire safety, asbestos and legionella. Our client is a specialist safety and compliance business with a new requirement in the team for a Senior or Principal Asbestos Consultant. They support a range public and private sector organisations, universities, housing associations and housebuilders, as well as some interesting niche clients in logistics and manufacturing. This is an ideal role for someone working in Asbestos, who wants to get away from inspections and testing, moving into more of a strategic focussed role delivering assurance and consultancy services for clients. If you are an experienced Asbestos professional, working as a Principal or Senior Consultant or Technical Manager and you're looking to develop in a more consultative role then this could be the company for you. Work typically includes quality control reviews of asbestos data reports, collection of audit data, conducting site-based audits of asbestos suppliers and consulting with suppliers to ensure improvements. As you develop in the role you will act as a Technical Lead, auditing asbestos management systems and developing consultancy reports. Because of the team and company growth, this role will also give you the opportunity to train and develop outside of Asbestos - into Health & Safety, Fire or Compliance - the leadership and wider team are incredibly supportive and invest time and money into upskilling and professionally supporting staff. Salary range is between 45,000 and 65,000 depending on experience, with BOHS CoCA being an expectation for the top banding of the salary.
