Job Overview Grant Store Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Manager / Qualified Supervisor (QS) to support and oversee our growing portfolio of Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations. The Electrical Manager / QS plays a vital role ensuring that all Solar PV and ASHP electrical works are completed to the highest standards of safety, performance, and compliance. The successful candidate will spend approximately four days per week actively engaged in electrical installations, inspection, testing, fault finding, and remedial works across a range of sites. This ensures continued involvement in practical delivery and a strong understanding of day-to-day project requirements. One day per week will be dedicated to Qualified Supervisor responsibilities. During this time, the postholder will oversee the technical standard of works completed by other electricians, carry out desktop audits, review certification, and formally sign off installations in line with current electrical regulations and scheme provider requirements. Responsibilities Quality Supervision, Sign-Off & Auditing Sign off completed electrical works carried out by other electricians where authorised Carry out desktop audits of electrical certification, test results, and job documentation Review quality, compliance, and technical accuracy of completed Solar PV and ASHP installations Identify non-conformances and raise corrective actions where required Provide technical guidance and support to site electricians Ensure documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time Support continuous improvement in quality, compliance, and best practice Complete annual company NICEIC and MCS Audits On-Site Electrical Works Carry out electrical installation works in line with drawings, specifications, and regulations, including Solar PV systems and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), and various electrical installations.
