Traffic Marshall

Dewey Group are currently seeking qualified Traffic Marshalls to join a civil engineering project based in Edinburgh.

This is an initial 13 week contract, with the potential for extension depending on project requirements and performance.

Role Details:

• Location: Edinburgh (EH2 Postcode)
• Contract length: Initial 3 months (potential to extend)
• Hours: Approx 50 hours per week (potential for overtime)
• Additional opportunities for night shifts and weekend work

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely manage and control vehicle and pedestrian movements on site
• Ensure all traffic management operations comply with site rules and safety regulations
• Communicate clearly with site operatives, plant operators, and delivery drivers
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification (CPCS or NPORS)
• Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshall on construction or civil engineering sites
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work long hours and be flexible with shifts
• Valid right to work in the UK
