TSR, are currently recruiting for a freelance site manager to work on a refurbishment project in Nottinghamshire. This position is available to start end of January and expected to run for 9 weeks. You will take full responsibility for the site, ensuring health and safety is a top priority. This project will impact the local community and relatively high profile for the area, with a value of £2m.

The contractor is privately owned; with over 65 years of experience, they will encourage safety, respect and reliability. This business has accomplished other similar value projects in recent times and has created a fantastic reputation in the region.

The Role:

• Supervising all aspects of the on site operations
• Being aware of all site safety hazards and precautions
• Ensure workers have PPE and are using the correct equipment
• Health & safety management/equipment
• Subcontractor and quality management
• Keep site documents up to date and organised
• Manage the day to day running of the site
• Programme management
• Working collaboratively with other contractors

The Person:

• CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid
• Experience as a site manager on refurb projects up to £5 million
• Asbestos Awareness
• IT Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Client facing and relationship building experience
