Your new role Working on the largest highways project in the region involving a new 10 mile dual carriageway, we are looking for a Section Engineer to join the project team with a particular focus on Structures.As Section Engineer they require you to effectively and professionally monitor and supervise site works including subcontract packages. Delivered in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements and project specifications. Some of the duties involved (but not limited to): Contribute to construction feasibility reviews of the proposed detailed design, review and commenting on Issued For Assurance construction packs prior to receiving IFC information Coordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with "no in-flight change" Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolution Write and/or Review Temporary Works Design Briefs to the acceptance of the TWC Ensure the delivery team is working to the latest design, and it is fully understood.
