Senior Quantity Surveyor - Bridgwater We are looking to procure an experienced, civil engineering "Senior Quantity Surveyor" to join a small contractor based near Bridgwater. They work on a broad range of projects across Devon and Somerset for large commercial main contractors and direct for the clients. A busy order book as a result of their broad client base covering commercial, education, housing and care sectors. Individual projects range from from £500k - £6m and include: Roads and Infrastructure Section 278 works Piling and earthworks Ground-works UtilitiesThey are looking for a stand alone Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their happy team. Reporting into the Managing director you will be responsible for up to 4 projects concurrently. Key duties will include: Supporting their estimator on tenders Procurement of Subcontractors Monthly CVR's Variations and Claims Client meetings Final AccountsThis role would suit a local to the area area who wants to join a friendly and flexible business and a relaxed autonomous environment. We are looking for applications from candidates with the following skills and experience; Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying Currently working for a civil engineering main contractor or subcontractor with groundworks experience.
