Your new role

• Prepare clear and accurate cost estimates for projects.
• Support and guide junior team members when needed.
• Prepare and negotiate changes to the main contract.
• Manage costs effectively to help maintain strong project profitability.
• Ensure all work meets required quality, safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Review, assess, and certify subcontractor payment applications.
• Track and control project costs to stay within approved budgets.
• Identify project risks and help develop plans to reduce them.
• Handle subcontractor procurement, including preparing and issuing agreements.
• Assist in preparing documents needed for dispute resolution processes.

What you'll need to succeed
Extensive background as a Quantity Surveyor, with expertise in managing projects under the NEC form of contract.Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects for a main contractor.Skilled in applying innovative solutions to complex problems and adept at negotiating across all levels within the construction environment.Highly ambitious professional with strong communication skills, confidence, and a flexible approach to challenges.Possesses exceptional numeracy and IT proficiency to meet the financial and analytical demands of the role.What you'll get in return
