The Opportunity

A growing Electrical & Mechanical engineering group is seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to support the continued expansion of its electrical and facilities management operations. This is a key commercial role with involvement across live electrical projects, FM frameworks, and strategic business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of electrical projects from pre-contract to final account
• Cost planning, forecasting and budget control across multiple electrical contracts
• Preparation, submission and negotiation of valuations, variations and final accounts
• Subcontractor procurement, payments and commercial performance management
• Commercial input into tenders and new business opportunities
• Identification and mitigation of commercial risk
• Client liaison to support long-term relationships and repeat business
• Ensuring contractual, financial and H&S compliance

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor
• Strong background within electrical contracting / building services / FM electrical works
• Hands-on, practical understanding of electrical installations
• Sound knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
• Commercially driven with a client-focused mindset
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
