We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a highly respected regional contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and heritage sectors. Based at their Swindon head office, you will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders, ensuring projects are priced effectively and align with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for a variety of construction projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Work closely with the preconstruction and project teams to support successful delivery.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
