Job Title: Architect (Demonstratable Building Regulation Principal Designer experience)

Daily Duties:

• Lead and manage Principal Designer responsibilities under Building Regulations
• Review designs for technical compliance and provide guidance to project teams
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure regulatory adherence
• Produce reports, risk assessments, and documentation required for approvals
• Provide practical design advice on safety, accessibility, sustainability, and performance
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified architect with demonstrable experience in Building Regulation Principal Designer duties
• Strong knowledge of technical compliance requirements in the built environment
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a medium-sized team
• Enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive, creative, and inclusive office culture in Chichester
