Position: Quantity Surveyor Location : Warrington (office-based with site travel as required) Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 per annum (DOE) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and forward-thinking construction consultancy delivering projects across a range of sectors. This role offers the chance to work on varied schemes while gaining exposure across both pre and post-contract stages. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects, working closely with senior team members while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive environment. Quantity Surveyor - Job Overview The successful candidate will support the delivery of full quantity surveying services across multiple projects, from initial feasibility through to final account. You will play a key role in cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting, while building strong relationships with clients and project teams. Key duties include: Deliver pre and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple projects Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies and Bills of Quantities Assist with procurement, tendering and subcontractor management Manage valuations, variations and final accounts Support commercial reporting including CVRs and cash flow forecasts Assist in preparing claims, extensions of time and loss & expense submissions Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants throughout project lifecycles Attend meetings and contribute to successful project delivery Quantity Surveyor - Job Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline Proven experience within a contractor or consultancy environment Strong understanding of pre and post-contract duties Experience in procurement, cost management and contract administration Commercially aware with good negotiation skills Strong communication and organisational ability Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Able to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team Quantity Surveyor - Salary & Benefits Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 per annum (DOE) Hybrid working available Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week Excellent career progression opportunities Exposure to a diverse range of projects Supportive and collaborative working environment Further benefits to be discussed at interview stage Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
