Mechanical Estimator

CJS Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Estimator!

We are seeking an Estimator to join a growing M&E company based in Kent who specialise in a range of projects in the Commercial sector - including but not limited to : Data centres; Commercial Fit-Outs / Plant rooms, Schools, Hospitals and more.

Details of the role include:

• 3 + years of experience estimating in mechanical or HVAC building services.
• Strong knowledge of retrofit, replacement, & design-and-build projects.
• Understanding of HVAC systems: chillers, boilers, heat pumps, VRF/VRF, Ventilation, and controls.
• Competant with Microsoft Excel.
• Commercial awareness, understanding of installation methodologies and subcontractor pricing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work will be office-based in Maidstone / Kings Hill, with the majority of the projects taking place in London, Kent and other areas in the Southeast.

The role is likely to be on a freelance position, but there is potential for a permanent placement.
