Senior Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor specialising in industrial new build projects. Our client is delivering a multi-unit industrial development valued at approximately £10m, based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. With the project already underway, they are now seeking an experienced Lead Senior Site Engineer (permanent position) with a proven background in industrial projects to join the team as soon as possible.

Key Duties:

• Lead all setting out works across a multi-phase industrial project
• Drive QA compliance, inspections, and adherence to specifications
• Produce and maintain accurate as-built documentation
• Liaise closely with consultants and design teams to resolve technical issues
• Manage service avoidance procedures and underground utility coordination
• Carry out CAT & Genny surveys (certification preferred)
• Issue and control permits to break ground
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, CAT & Genny
• Access to own vehicle and full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience within a similar role as a Senior Site Engineer on an industrial new build scheme.
