Civils & Groundworks - Telecoms & Highways (Openreach Experience)

We are recruiting for an experienced Civils / Groundworks Engineer with proven Openreach telecoms civils experience to support ongoing fibre network build projects across the UK.

This role is based in the highways / street works environment and involves excavation, ducting and chamber installation, and reinstatement works to a high standard.

We are offering a salary bracket of 30,000 - 38,000 - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities

• Civils and groundworks for telecommunications infrastructure

• Openreach ducting and chamber installation

• Excavations (hand dig and machine dig)

• Duct route works and support for fibre network builds

• Reinstatement works including tarmac, slabs, concrete, block paving, and verges

• Working to Openreach standards, job packs, and site drawings

• Working in line with NRSWA street works requirements

• Following RAMS and site health & safety procedures

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in telecoms civils / Openreach civils

• Experience working on highways / street works sites

• Strong health & safety awareness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications

• NRSWA Street Works

• CSCS Card

• CAT & Genny

• CPCS or NPORS (excavator / dumper)

• Full UK Driving Licence
